Kitchen Manager – Head Chef

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Kitchen Manager – Head Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, prepare balanced meals, manage volunteers, and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals for residents and community members.

  • Manage volunteers and community service clients.

  • Maintain inventory, supplies, and monthly menu planning.

  • Ensure kitchen safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Serv-Safe protocols.

  • Assist with agency operations and provide feedback to management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience; experience in mental health or substance use settings a plus.

  • Ability to direct volunteers, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional boundaries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Residential Support Specialists (RSS): 2 types

  1. Year-Round RSS

    Part-Time:  Sat & Sun only – 1st, 2nd and 3rd

    Full-Time: 

Monday through Fri: 9 AM to 5 PM

Mon through Fri– 3rd –12:00 am-8:00 am

* Also, per-diem shifts all available.

St Paul’s Community Center is seeking a high energy, compassionate individual to serve as the Residential Support specialist for the shelter. 

Looking to hire Residential Support Specialist to provide support and supervision to residents living in the shelter setting to ensure that their daily living needs are met. 

Duties include: monitoring the shelter for safety, assisting shelter residents with their personal needs, questions or goals, ensuring that the facility’s policies are followed, and working within the team, and independently to complete all shift tasks and expectations. 

Minimum requirements: High School (GED) plus 1 year relevant experience. The candidate must have basic computer skills. associate degree in social services or related field desired. Must be willing and able to pass background and drug testing.

Maintenance

Part- Time, flexible hours

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our facility safe, functional, and welcoming for staff and residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors/windows).

  • Conduct inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.

  • Maintain tools, storage areas, and overall cleanliness.

  • Coordinate with vendors/contractors as needed.

  • Support emergency repairs (on-call as required).

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of general building maintenance experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

  • Respectful and empathetic when working with vulnerable populations.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Representative Payee –

Full-time and Part-Time

A Representative Payee is responsible for budgeting and monitoring consumer resources to ensure accuracy, accountability, and housing stability.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage consumers’ Social Security benefits, including allocating funds for food, shelter, and other essential expenses, and budgeting remaining resources.

  • Maintain organized and compliant filing systems.

  • Monitor consumer accounts to verify accuracy and fiscal responsibility.

  • Reconcile accounting software with bank statements and prepare required documentation for annual audits.

  • Collaborate with team members to support the overall payee program.

  • Communicate payee policies and procedures to Social Security, Community Mental Health Centers, and other partner agencies.

  • Participate in agency events.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; an associate degree in Social Services, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience working with individuals experiencing poverty, persistent mental illness, and/or substance use is preferred.

  • A positive attitude is essential.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills required.

  • Moderate proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).

  • Ability to work with electronic financial transactions and perform numerical calculations across multiple databases, including banking systems.

  • Ability to read, understand, and navigate basic technology.

  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
